Brause EF 66 set into the shorter Zanerian oblique holder. it's responsive to a very heavy hand, or delicate touch, capable of broad range of strokes. Kate McKulla ______________ My very favorite nibs are from Cornellison's in London and are E.S.Perry Iridinoid. After years of searching, I bought these on a trip to London and barely use any other. They are smooth and have a large reservoir for ink. However, they do only come in the narrower widths. Angee Cobb ______________ Hmmm.....in order, Automatics, Brauses, Coits, Osmiroids, Speedballs, with William Mitchell bringing up the field. Karen Ter Haar ______________ William Mitchell's and Brause, if I could I would love to clone these two together, somehow, and have a *Willbra*, a nib with the flex of the Mitchell with the durability and angle of the Brause, top reservoir, that is of the chisel nibs.... Collene, Oz ______________ 'Esterbrook' and 'School' Debi Zeinert ______________ New Chronicle nibs - not their original nasty shiny gilt ones, but the ones that are more like the William Mitchell nibs, but without the sometimes too sharp corners. These corners are rounded ever so slightly and write beautifully ..........well, in the right hands of course! Peter Thornton speaks very highly of them. Lesley, England ______________ Brause EF66. Its the most flexible and finest pointed nib I have ever come across. Ruth Booth, Ontario _______________ Brause, because I have a heavy hand. Size 3! Am trying to use Mitchells more to work on that lighter touch. Also love Mitchells in the smaller sizes. I use all my nibs - even kinda like Tapes. And Speedball is nice in the larger sizes occasionally, especially when learning a new hand. Cindy Yount _______________ Esterbrook 355 and Gillott 1068A. I do Copperplate mostly so the 1068A just glides and will write on any envelope. Sharon Kennedy _______________ Speedball C-0 through C-2, any smaller and I love all the Mitchell nibs. And I agree with Ruth Nancy Grossenbacher, Portland _______________ Mitchell nibs & Automatic pens (the Brits win for chisel edge nibs) Carol DuBosch, Portland _______________ ESTERBROOK 357's or 358's...great nibs from a time when nibs were made well! Mary, CT _______________ Mitchell F elbow pointed nib, and, for broad pens, my Brauses. Max Broadway, Oz _______________ Brause EF66 Bonnie Noehr, California _______________ Brause nibs for broad edge and gillott 1068-A for pointed pen Angela Welch _______________ Favorite nib for copperplate: vintage ones - Myers, Perry, Goode Carol, in NYC _______________ Nibs: For pointed pen work, my favorite was always Brause 66EF. Donna Whitman, Vermont _______________ Brause and for copperplate, Gillotte 303's Victoria Kibildis, Florida ________________ Mitchell nibs with a reservoir fashioned from quilter's tape (I don't like the Mitchell reservoir) Alexis Reiter, Canada ________________ Mitchell 2.5, an old workhorse JoAnn Fannon, NY _________________ Tapes, the C-0 Speedball, the half inch Coit Glen Epstein, Iowa _________________ Brause nibs Jill Bell __________________ My favourite nib is the gold C2 nib that came in the Speedball Centennial collection Ken Firkins __________________ my left hand Mitchell nibs Elissa Barr __________________ Tape, Brause..they take abuse Victoria Pittman __________________ Mitchells.
